Scope and Content

The papers of Lt. Wagner are unarranged but have been inventoried for easier access. The bulk of the collection consists of political materials pertaining to her elections and service in the Nevada Legislature but exclude her official records as Lt. Gov. There are a few personal materials, mostly correspondence and greeting cards.

Included in the collection are legislative files, subject files; calendars; staff reports; clippings and articles on either Wagner or topics of interest to her; materials on economic development, tourism, and women's issues; voting record; campaign materials; clippings and articles about other Nevada politicians; files concerning the 1990 plane crash; and speeches. Although the collection is unarranged, groups of like files seem to be in close proximity.

Restrictions

Collection is open for research. Materials must be used on-site; advance notice suggested. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Donated by Lt. Gov. Wagner in 1994; Reno, NV.
