Title:  University Archives Halftone Relief Plates and Letterpress Collection (AC 0492)
Abstract:  The collection consists of halftone relief plates and letterpress images mounted on wood depicting images of various men’s and women’s sports teams, the Nevada State University Cadet Corps and band, campus buildings, Clarence Mackay, and the Mackay statue.

Title:  Harry William Pykor Collection of Basketball Score Books (AC 0581)
Abstract:  The collection is composed of 13 original score books for the University of Nevada's varsity basketball team. The scores of the basketball game were hand recorded in the score books, tracking the players' field goals and fouls in each half of the game, for both the University of Nevada and the opposing team. It also lists the umpires, timekeepers, scorers, and game referees.

Title:  Fremont Cannon Collection (AC 0640)
Abstract:  The replica Fremont Cannon was donated by the Kennecott Copper Corporation to the University of Nevada on November 26, 1970, in Las Vegas during the homecoming football game between the UNLV Rebels and the UNR Wolf Pack. The seven foot long cannon became the largest and most expensive trophy in college football and a revolving trophy going to the victor of the annual football game between the Reno and Las Vegas campuses. Collection consists of correspondence from the Kennecott Copper Corporation, historical notes about the original cannon, two copies of the "Mountain Artillery" booklet, a set of specification drawings used to make the replica cannon, and newspaper clippings.

Title:  Jake Lawlor Scrapbook (AC 0572)
Abstract:  The scrapbook consists of certificates, game programs, letters from University of Nevada Presidents and other colleagues, memorabilia, newspaper clippings, playbills, family and career photographs, and telegrams. Included is a Delta Xi Chapter - Sigma Nu publication from May 1928, when Lawlor was a student at the University of Nevada. His 1960 Winter Olypmics "Official" patch is accompanied by a newspaper story and photograph of his service as a timer for the games at Squaw Valley. Newspaper clippings and photographs include coverage of various Nevadans, including Rollan Melton and other members of the University's coaching staff. The scrapbook was compiled by Erma Lawlor, wife of Jake Lawlor, and presented to him at his retirement from the University in May 1972. Items continued to be added to the scrapbook until 1993.

Title:  The Wolf Pack Edge Collection (AC 0610)
Abstract:  The Wolf Pack Edge Collection includes media guides and marketing material for several University Wolf Pack sports, athletes, and coaches; the first two issues of "The Total Pack Edge" newspaper, along with master pages and covers for some of its issues; transcripts of some of its articles; business records; and biographical information about founder and publisher Ken Moen. Included are CDs and zip disks containing varied content from the newspaper.

Title:  Board of Regents Records (AC 0477)
Abstract:  The Board of Regents was established by the Nevada State Constitution in 1864 with the first Board created in 1865. The Board is responsible for the governance of the institutions comprising the Nevada System of Higher Education. Records consist of agendas, minutes, and materials submitted during Board meetings and used by the secretary of the Board to prepare the final minutes, including Nevada System of Higher Education budget reports.
